After about five months of being down I was finally able to fix whatever was wrong with the archive. I think when I was trying to delete unused files to clean up space, I must have accidentally deleted something I shouldn't have, but I have no idea what it was. Anyway, I finally got the problem fixed without the loss of any story submissions or reviews. :)

I've also added a new administrator, my daughter Cutycat2. Hopefully with her help, the archive will run smoothly and there will be no more accidental deleting of vital files. ;)

To celebrate the archive's return, I've made some new banners and got a couple new skins to make the site look better.

I also deleted a lot of member accounts that were suspicious. Most of these members had SPAM links in their bios/or user names and were not active anyway. An example of members deleted is one with the username of Lowes Credit Card. Of the over 1800 members only about 200 were good (or just too hard to tell either way.) If you feel you know of someone who was a legitimate member of the archive whose account was deleted wrongly, simply have that person register again, but make sure to not put suspicious looking content in their profile. If anyone has any questions about this matter, do not hesitate to ask and please let me know if you see a member that you suspect is a SPAMMER.

I've added four new characters. You can now submit or read stories that feature Det. Tony Vartann, Henry Andrews, Mandy Webster, or David Phillips as a main character. I've also added several new pairings that feature the four new characters. 

If you know of any other characters or pairings that you think should be added, feel free to let me know and I will most likely add them. 

I was not happy with the way the forums looked so I totally redid the forums from scratch using a different (and much better forum host). For anyone who had previously checked out the forums you may have noticed the lack of anything unique to them. I was not able (or just couldn't figure out how to) change the background colors or add my own banners/logos to the old forums.

The new one has several cool themes that you can choose from depending on what your individual tastes are. After registering you just change choose the theme you'd like to use from your profile. Hopefully you will like the updated forums much better.

If you had been registered to the old forums which i think one one person besides myself and the moderator was, you will have to reregister to the new one, but this one is much better all around.

I wanted to let everyone know that I am starting to move tomorrow, which means that I will be without internet until whenever we get the cable hooked up at the new house. It could be in a couple of days or a week or so, I have no idea. So if you submit any new stories before I get internet back, I will not be able to validate them. They will not be viewable on the archive until I validate them. I apologize for the inconvenience and promise to check all submissions as soon as I get internet back.
